The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

A Helpful Wolf. (Baroq)

Jewel looked up from she lay down as Baroq came into the clearing. She rose to her paws to welcome him in a embrace, loving the way he felt against her side. His multiple kisses were welcomed with a smile, even as she returned them in a few strokes of her on upon his face. They were rough and firm, as if claiming him, and he would know that she had missed him in his short absence by the way her eyes looked to him with joy. For a moment after he spoke to her she stayed next to him. Then she moved, her body turning to head down the entrance of the den. She noticed the rabbit, but she would share it with Baroq after the pups little adventure above ground. Tail wagging she spoke, waking her pups from their short nap. Her melody came through softly to them, knowing what they would hear would bring excitement running through their small bodies.

“Come on little ones, your going outside.”

They had tried to follow her or Baroq out a couple of times, and she knew the two would be anxious to get out now. Making sure they were close behind her she lead them to the entrance, feeling a little anxious, but more excited then anything. Her grey and white auds swerved forward as she listened to her mate speak above. She couldn’t agree more with what he said about their foster daughter, she was glad to have her with them. So they were going to get together with his brother’s family. Her tail gave a few wags at the thought of her pups meeting more family. It would give them time to get to know each other, and she, Baroq, the pups, and Jena could enjoy themselves while away from pack life for a short time.

Picking the grey and black female up she placed up the tunnel, and nudged her until she was scampering out. Then she allowed the mottled grey male to follow after his sister, but not till after she had to help him up as well. She was close behind to lend them help as they climbed their way out, but it wasn’t long before their small paws were able to propel them forward enough to come out. She watched, knowing the new light would probably blind them for a moment, but it wouldn’t be long before the two bundles would be jumping around.

Jena looked up when she sensed her mother’s excitement. That was enough to let her know Baroq had arrived. Lifting her head from where she lay, the femme had barely enough time to prepare herself for her foster father’s ticklish game. She gave a soft laugh at his playful nature, remembering how excited he had been when the pups were born. Jena couldn’t help but think this was really good for him and Jewel, that they had someone else to care for. They just seemed like the type of couple that always should have someone to look after. They were good at it, after all look at her.

She watched as Jewel went below to get the pups. Excitement to see her little siblings pulsed through her. Standing to her feet she moved closer to the clearing so she could see them well when they came out. As Baroq began to speak she looked to him, and she would of blushed if she could. As he continued to pricked her tuners in his direction, a little bit of excitement at this idea cursing through her. It would be much like when she had gone with them and Queda, and her mate that one time. It would be nice, and she could teach her half siblings how to swim, or play in the sand with them. Either way, it would be a fun time. She spoke back to Baroq her voice holding excitement as well. Her grey and white plume slid across the ground a couple of times while she did.

“That sounds great Baroq. I’m sure the pups would love it. I know I did as a pup.”

She looked now to the entrance of the den, where she had saw small movement. Two small bundles stood there blinking up in the light. She knew that, naturally, they would go to Baroq first, since they knew him almost as well as their mother. Jewel wasn’t far behind them, and she followed them to their father. Stretching she took one last look at the two before she spoke, her voice a whisper for the two adults alone. She didn’t want to startle the young ones.

“I’ll be back later, to check on everything, but for now I’m going to go check and make sure everything is alright.”

With that said, she gave one last wag of her tail in farewell, as her grey and white image disappeared from the clearing through the bushes. There she left to check around the terra, make sure everything was safe. Then she would go check around the borders for any loners or whatever.

ooc: Sorry it's not much.
