The black filly was feeling a little more chipper today though that wasn't saying much. She was basically raising herself, dumped in Beqanna by her parents whom she despised deeply for this. She had made little friends, preferring to be alone. She tolerated little of the horses in the Chamber; the only one she could stand being Starlace. Sure she was arrogant. But B'Elanna couldn't really blame her with a mother like Lady in Red. She was amazed the older filly was as nice as she was. The Frisian could tell the tobiano was lonely and merely wanted playmates. B'Elanna could understand that. She liked to play too, or rather used to. She hadn't felt like it lately. But today was different. She was leaving the Chamber and heading to the Volcanic Village, the home of Starlace's father for a little "party". She didn't really know what to expect. Starlace was full of surprises.
She entered the oddly scenic land though the air could stand some improvement. At seven months she was getting tall, no longer a fuzzy foal. Her mane was growing out, her tail getting longer, her coat getting blacker. Her dark eyes spied Starlace and she made her way over to her across the rocky ground, careful to choose the easiest path. Finally reaching her, she offered a small smile.
"So, what are we going to do?" Her voice was polite. There was no reason to be haughty. Dark eyes peered into Starlaces, a strong stare for such a young girl. She was confident acting, possibly even being mistaken as being arrogant herself. But B'Elanna didn't care. She wasn't in the Chamber to make friends. Starlace was the only one she gave the time of day and that was all she needed right now.
