I have to brother kittens as well, just adopted them in June. They LOVE each other and the only fighting them do is chasing each other around the house and tumbling, never anything even close to mean. They really spend most of their time cuddling and cleaning each other. Even though they have far outgrown the bed they used to share and we have bought a second one so they don't have to share, they still sleep together every night.
I think they do even better when they do grow up having a companion
