the broken clock is a comfort it helps me sleep tonight
Maybe it can stop tomorrow from stealing all my time
And I am here still waiting though I still have my doubts
I am damaged at best like you’ve already figured out
I’m falling apart I’m barely breathing
With a broken heart that’s still beating

Frodo blinks at the fag that falls beside him. He looks up, silver blue eyes staring widely at Adia.
A…Adia?
He blinks up at her. Oh, how he wishes she would hug him. He wants to leap up and throw those pale limbs around her, to hold his other half close, tightly. He wants the rain to patter around them, and wash away the troubles that this may cause. While his eyes are suddenly so closed, so distant, at the sight of Adia Reshil, they light up slightly. The silver seems to shine a bit brighter, and the blue seems to glow a bit stronger. But, they are crushed slightly when she speaks, turns and (seemingly) flees. His heart breaks slightly, but like the loyal sibling he is, he runs after her.

The boy is thankful that he’s managed to, somehow, grow out of his asthma. Because this means that he can keep up with her, with his wild and reckless Adia. It means she can run free, and won’t have to wait anymore. The sand beneath his feet is cloggy, it crumbles and sticks.
Great for making sand castles.
Sam comments. It makes odd sucking noises as he runs after the raven haired twin. He hold the Chinchilla tight to his chest, feeling relief as he sucks in each breath, knowing there won’t be any pain as he breaths deep. He watches as Adia throws herself forward. He catches his breath as she disappears. Throwing all his trust into the girl he had lost, the boy leapt forward too. His feet made no noise as the landed.

But…they didn’t land. Frodo looks around, wide eyed, as he starts down into space. Around him, a valley shifts and swirls. It never seems to stay still. And there was something…fake…undoubtedly fake…about this place. It seemed that, things in the distance were blurred. Out of the corner of his eyes, Frodo saw the world sag. The stars glinted brightly when you looked at them, but the moment you focused on something else, they seemed to face, and loose their colour. Out of the corner of his eyes, everything was monochromatic. It looked like a Van Gogh painting, that someone had spilt a pot of water on, then tried to rub the liquid away.

Sam makes an odd choking noise, and Frodo turns, watching Adia. She seems to be seeing something different. But then, she begins to fall, and Frodo yells. But he watches as the girl tumbles. Her eyes are distant, and Frodo runs towards her.
Wait! You don’t know what’s happening!
Sam tried to reason with the boy. But Frodo doesn’t listen. He throws himself after his twin, blindly following her. The girl tumbles through the stars, the bright colours brightening, becoming almost blinding. As the light increases, a scream comes from Frodo, and he clutches Sam tighter.
ADIA!
He screams for his sibling, hoping the girl would snap out of it. With a sickening “thud” they hit the ground, almost in unison. But, they are still standing on nothing. They are still seemingly floating in mid air. And, though they had been falling at break neck speed, neither Frodo, nor Adia suffered any injuries.
Speak for yourself! I’ve got a headache now!
The Chinchilla piped up, blinking wide eyes angrily. Frodo shakes his head, crushing his palm into his forehead.
Yes, I can tell!
He responds, annoyed at the familiar. But, when silver blue eyes fall on Adia, Frodo rushes forward.
Adia? Are you alright?
The boy clutches his familiar close, reaching out a thin hand and brushing curls from her face.
Adia?
