Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Her mind was a butterfly's wing, fragile and beautiful, her heart full of song and bursting with melodies. Aiko, fully unexpecting the were to jump out at her. Fully expecting to make it down the mountain unscathed. She pricked her ears at the sound of a shifting in the brush. With a snarl she turned, suprised to see a seven foot wolf-creature leaping at her. Oh, how she knew that he want to sink his claws into her flesh. With a cry she stepped backwards.

"W-what?" she stuttered, as her hing leg kicked a rock down the slope, throwing her off balance. With a scream she tumbled down the slope, coming to rest a good 10 feet below, on a ledge. Aiko whimpered in pain, her leg twisted at an awkward angle. An odd feeling she had, the feeling that death was imminent. Aiko knew the were was going to kill her, no doubt.

Back to light she runs,
Searching for the sun,
A cry of defeat
A cry for help
Is not her way
And it will be a dark day
When Aiko does not convey
A beautiful melody
A perfect harmony
