She is frustrated, and unbelievably so; some of her memories have started to return, but they are rude, fickle little beings that only give her small bits and pieces. For instance, she remembers the Fall of the Deities as a whole jumbled mess of names, as well as a volcano. Her children, as names as well - her friends as nothing more than name tags on a blurred face. She has gotten lost, somewhere, caught in between reality and her subconscious while coming back from the Time Warp. And even while she lived under Brighton in his herd of the Silver Lakes, she had not been completely sane either. She had thought that they were all completely living a normal life, while the others told her that that was not the case. She had not been sure who to believe, but she now knows that there had been something wrong. And there is some strange things going on now, too, and this time, everyone knows it.
Her irritation is evident as she picks her way through the Lakes, around and over the various mud piles. It is almost fall, at least, so they are beginning to become dirt once more, but for now she is disgusted by them. It is her duty as Brighton's Guardian to love all Earthly things, but this is really too much. Surely Brighton does not actually expect her to 'take care of' the little puddles and the life forms inside of them, the life forms that help to decompose each animals or plant that dies within its domain. When she makes her way to a particularly large puddle, it moves - and not in the gentle swaying motion of a mudslide (which is virtually impossible on such flat ground), but rather the rumbling of a small earthquake. A tremor, really, but since it is nowhere in any of the rest of the Silver Lakes, the silver dun mare immediately knows that someone is looking for her.
She follows the tremor as it moves from place to place, taking care to lift her tail out of the mud. The same she cannot say for her black stockings, which already have been dried and caked over a few times today, but luckily the sun seems to be coming out. The earth stops shaking when Solaris reaches Andais, and she gives a small nod of recognition as she stops a respectable distance away - friendly, but not too close to be in the other's personal space. She gazes for a moment, and then notices a small puddle of mud near Andais' left foreleg. With a sudden flash of irritation, the ruby on her forehead glows and the puddle is incinerated by a small, harmless and heatless (at least to everything but the puddle) orange flame. A satisfied smile crosses her face, and this is the expression she keeps as she looks back up at Andais.
”Hello, Andais. How are you today? The weather seems to be getting better.”
Idle conversation, but perhaps Andais can help her learn something about her past.
