1971 AMC Javelin SST value feeler IP: 138.29.96.204 Posted on January 26, 2011 at 06:22:41 PM by mtbjunkie00
Hello all. I own a 1971 AMC Javelin SST that I am thinking about selling. I am in the military and will be relocated within the next year. I'd rather someone drive it than to store it which will be problematic/expensive for me. The problem is that I really don't know what price point to set.
I bought it almost 6 years ago at ~52,000 miles and it currently has ~56,000 miles. I believe that I am the 4th owner. The car has spent its time in CT with one owner in Florida. It is not in perfect shape (small nicks in the paint lower on the quarter panels), but is a good "10 foot car". From 10 feet away it looks perfect. It has the 360ci V8. Engine work has been done (MSD electronics, new heads, new cam, larger carb, replaced radiator) and the exhaust has been replaced (Hedman headers into 2.5 inch Flowmaster Super 40's). New rims as well, but I have the original center caps from the rally style wheels that must have originally been on the car. Original red interior. It has been repainted the original silver color once by a previous owner.
Thank you for the help. Replies: There have been no replies.
