Well, becoming a part of the pack had been relatively easy. Sid's acceptance of him in Abendrot had been just the thing to get Queens to come waltzing over, shut Reenoch and her big, growling trap up, and then welcome him with what seemed like interest and hope. Like Queens, Silver Bullet had heard the rumors that Sid was leaving his beloved Abendrot and retiring here. It was one of the reasons Silver had left in the first place. Sid was an okay kind of guy and for that, SB wasn't all that keen on remaining in Abendrot without an idea of how the next leader would act. Besides, Queens was....alluring. She smelled of pups, very young ones, and faintly of Sid and some other male, but she had appeared to be quite taken with him too. Not saying that it would lead anywhere, but SB was always down for some good old fashioned flirting and Queens sounded like fun. Perhaps there would be time for that later. Now though, his Lady had asked him to attend border patrol with her and he was all too happy to oblige. No harm in learning the lay of the lands with such a fair beauty of a queen to follow.

The sleek bronco had moved off at the sound of a loner's call on the border. It asked for some wolf named Eagle, completely throwing him for a loop as to why the wolf was requesting a spirit. All he knew was that Eagle was dead. SB, though most definately a player, was not a stupid wolf, and he had learned a little bit about Malignant's past before his arrival on the border. He'd learned that Eagle was a past alpha, along with a few other names, and kept it at that. He hadn't asked about Queens' past or dug for any information on current members, just some names from the past.

Trotting ahead in both curiosity and the need to show his loyalty to Queens, he left his Majesty to catch up. Unlike Reenoch, he didn't arrive with an imminant growl or hackles raised. Instead, he was calm, almost serene looking as he padded up on speckled stilts. His fur shone in it's natural grey color, almost silver, with black streaks of fur woven in. One brown hark flicked back, waiting and listening for Queens' approach, the other aimed towards the specimen before him. His banner held no real rank, just the lowliness of an omega, but even so, the fact that he was on this side of the line and the female on the other, meant a whole lot of difference in terms of a pack. Blue beams focused on the ink pelted ess and Silver Bullet let out a few soft tsk's before cracking a small smile and answering what the femme had said.

"My dear, I do believe you are confused. Eagle is dead, has been for a while from what I've heard. Queens rules Malignant. And honey, there won't be any handouts here. Submit and you'll be lucky to make it into the pack because, between you and me, Queens is a tough love kind of gal."

His voice was soft, not perfect and angelic, but the kind that could melt a female's heart if they allowed it to. If anything, it was at least pleasant to listen to and it carried, so SB had no real intention of worrying whether or not Queens had heard his last comment. He was pretty sure she had if she hadn't decided to take a piss on her way here instead of continuing behind him. Of course, as queen of this land, she could do whatever she damn well wanted, including making them wait for her arrival. Honestly, Silver didn't care what she decided on because he was quite content to be doing something with a purpose, mostly just staring at this female. Staring, but not so much as looking at her. At least not at her personality that is. He was a womanizer after all and his mind happily occupied itself with studying her body more closely while they waited. He ignored the blood spatter, hell, everyone had a reason to take out some anger every once in a while since he could smell that it wasn't the blood of prey. To be quite honest, he was more concerned about the fact that she'd started to drop down but had then sprung back up, looking dominant in stance. He loved seeing a good girl fight, but he'd just as soon chase her off himself if Queens wished it.
