The fey watched her loving mate leave and sighed slightly, feeling aweful that she'd made him want to leave the den even for a small while. At Thrysta's question she hesitated before saying; "because their eyes developed differently. Your sister inherited it from your dad and he may have inherited it as well... I'm not sure..."

Serenity padded to the carcass "Thrysta, Koati sweethearts, are you hungry?" she asked softly, tearing some fur off the deer and then pulling some meat off. Koati looked at her mom through sightless eyes and mumbled the words "No thank you mommy," she then trotted to her mother and nuzzled her leg, sensing she was sad. Her slightly larger ears drooped slightly, she didn't want her mommy to be sad!

The pup wandered to the back of the den and sighed, she took over precautious steps as she couldn't see, she didn't want to crash into anything. She just wanted her parents to be happy but that didn't seem to be happening anytime soon.
