During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

She watched as his gaze met hers’ and the fang bearing smile stayed upon her face for a moment longer. In a way she was wanting the smile to reassure him she meant no harm, at least if it wasn’t needed of course, even if her pearls could bring damage. Trained as a warrior through and through, she knew to never let her guard down. His smirk at her and the look at her rabbit made her wonder if he was hungry. Shaggy wasn’t a vampry, but he was a guard much like herself. His invitation was clearly taken for she came forth, but stopped at the edge of his pile, and lowered her haunches to the ground. It was obvious she did this so as to not invade his personal space, and to perhaps keep them both comfortable in each others presence at the moment. At least that might keep this encounter a pleasant one. Remembering his look upon the rabbit, she placed it toward him, just as she caught him eyeing it again while licking his chops. His words caused her to smirk at his wicked grin. She spoke thinking sarcastically only if you care.

Of course your right. I am a patroller, but your welcome to the whole thing. I ate before I joined the pack. This rabbit had been meant as a offering for a conversation with another pack member. I suppose your that lucky member.

As he continued on, she found herself listening with silent patience. Often the best weapon could be what you knew and learnt, so that skill has enabled her to be a good conservationist, but mainly a quiet listener to others. She noticed his orbs looking at her, and so she returned the favor, but his form was mainly hidden in the darkness other than a faint outline. Quite the gentlemen huh she thought with a little smile. His words of them sharing beliefs, and other wolves being annoying, had her nodding her head in silent agreement. His wink caused her smirk as she spoke. Wondering how he’d react to coy jokes, she took a chance, not sure how she respond if he got offended.

I don’t know, seems to me like Skylight enjoys your company back there.

If she was looking for her death she added in her mind, at least for her. She couldn’t be positive what Shaggy would do, but Devil was positive it wasn’t good. At least good in someone else’s opinion that is, but she would enjoy seeing it, especially with a tasty snack on the side for the show. Watching fights got her blood boiling, and even more so if she was involved. Wouldn't that be great she thought to herself. She figured the male in front of her would still be angry that Skylight had gotten in his way earlier. Smiling she waited for a response, her chocolate orbs twinkling with good nature tease. A feminine look with a snake’s poisonous charm when chosen is what you could call her sometimes. Others had already, or compared her to similar things. After a comfortable moment of silence once the first topic was done, she found her voice filling the air again.

I think this is where we swap past stories, no?

That’s how loner talk usually started, she wondered if it was the same with pack members. It wasn’t till then that she wondered what was similar and different with the two life styles. Odd, she never thought about it before, but there it was shimmering its way into her thoughts. She was somewhat curious about what Shaggy Roger’s past was. For she wondered if he was raised, trained, in similar ways like her. Who had taught him how to react with packs, like how to submit and stuff. Somebody must have, for he knew how to do it, and obviously from other examples it was hard for it to come natural. She wasn’t sure if some wolves were raised pathetic, or it just came natural, either way she was sorry for whoever had to deal with it like she did. Devil’s Angel supposed she was being too harsh, but the thought disappeared, for she judged on the actions she saw. Looking to Shaggy she wondered if he agree to swap pasts.

(it'll be longer next time;)
