Alkaid heard the brute take another careful step towards her. It felt nice, inside just the thought that she cared was enough to make her feel warm and a bit safer. However as he said something about going up the mountain to get a better view she felt like a rock just landed in her stomach. "We can do that... but I won't be much help. You see-" Alkaid cut herself off. She was starting to figure it out, he didn't know she was blind. That must be why he was being so nice to her. She was sure that as soon as she told him that he would start treating her like her father and brother did... But there wasn't any going out of it and she didn't want to lie to him...

"I- can't see." She said even more quietly shrinking down as small as she possibly could, which was a lot as she sat down crunching herself into the smallest surface area possible. She didn't know how he didn't notice, perhaps he wasn't close enough to see that well she was blind. She didn't think anyone couldn't tell or never seen a blind creature before. Her ears twitched lightly focusing back on him and her eyes moved around to more in the direction where he was, not staring so off into space anymore though it was still clear that her foggy eyes weren't focused on him. Her ears flicked to elsewhere for a moment before moving back to him again, in the distance she had heard a fish jump and splash. She was pretty sure that's what it was. The thought made her feel more hungry as well. There wasn't anything he could do to help her, given the situation. Perhaps if Niyol knew were Gantalu was he could but not if he didn't... Then again she wasn't sure if she should leave because Wrath told her to stay...
