Really? Was he all right? To Hydra's untrained eye he didn't seem very all right. He seemed dreadfully troubled. His voice was hardly convincing. Then again she was such a poor judge of character. Avix looked at her for a moment as if studying her before looking back at Giselle. Despite his natrual love of air he was bound to earth by the elements. Which frequently put him at odds with himself much like the equine whom's soul he kept. Avix never felt quite okay or certain. Frequently he was in self-doubt and slightly bitter. So perhaps the other was lucky. At least she was built for the ground she traveled upon. Avix never really knew which he was really supposed to be on. Hydra knew little of his strife as of yet. It hadn't really come up in their few days together. "You just seem tremendously tired." Her head gave a slight shake as if to say she was dropping it. If he wanted to lie (in her opinion) than that was most certainly his buisness. She noticed him ease however and relaxed her tensed muscels every so slightly. Her head and neck did not lower though. She kept her height if only to feel reassured by it. Otherwise her body relaxed finding it much easier than standing ridgid. Avix was a good judge, if Tor decided to snap then she'd have at least half a seconds warning which could be good enough if she heeded it.
"You too? I hardly ever stop to worry of what others think. If only because their opinion has no bearing on my life. What about you? Do you have a secret reason for being so..." The mare paused pretending to seek out words. When the correct one came to her she grinned and allowed her blue eyes to widen wtih sucsess. "aloof?" Delicately the word traveled from her lips into the air. It was a gentle whisper of a question, really just a suggestion but it was also a deeply personal inquiriy. Hydra offered up her little tidbit because she really was comfortable with her life and choices. Was he truly the same way? Or had someone broken his heart along the way leaveing what he said a lie to hide the painfull truth. Hydra may not have known, but she planned on it. She noted his steady gaze and appreciated it. Frequently her blue eyes or bright pelt made others uncomfortable around her. Firstly because they presumed she was blind secondly due to her fragile apperance. The mare didn't mind, both were partially true.
