Devil was watchful as they turned their attention to her. It was odd, every little movement, a ear twitch or whatever seemed synchronized. Perhaps they were twins, and it came natural, she wasn’t sure what it was. The black and white ess let the questioning thought drop as she kept her attention on them. They spoke together, greeting her, and giving her their names as Incubus and Succubus. Their names sounded a little odd to her. She waited for them to tell her how they would be useful to the pack. When they finally did speak, she pricked her auds. Weapons, destroyers…Apparently they killed whole packs before, and honestly she figured it was an exaggeration. Two wolves…killing an entire pack, those odds were highly not in their favor. In truth she was tempted to ask if it was true, but there would be no proof, so she didn‘t question them on it. Devil’s Angel decided they could relay that to the alpha, if they wished to try and impress, and let her decide. She was just a curious wolf as to what their strengths would be. She was about to explain to them about the whole vampire thing. On how they would have to wait for night before they could be accepted. That night was the only time the ruler and some of the other wolves came out. While others like her, guarded the border during the day for the night livers. Being a day liver herself, she would have to protect the borders from those that threatened it, or wait with loners seeking to join. These two might actually make it here in Munashii Gekko.
Till they did something really stupid that could jeopardize whether they survived in the next few moments or not. This femme’s guard hadn’t dropped, she was a trained warrior, not some amateur wolf. She was ready for anything, and that was clear from her tenses muscles and pricked ears. As they came forward, she bared her fangs, and this time it wasn’t in a pleasing smile. Brown orbs stayed locked upon the two figured in front of her with warning. This one meant business, and the low growl coming from her did too. If the two crossed the border, then they would be dead, and she wouldn’t hesitate to protect her home. She had just found it, she wasn’t going to loose Munashii Gekko, no she’d rather die fighting for it. Devil was on the pack side of the border, so them coming at her would mean them crossing, without permission. Her ruler, Eric wouldn’t be around till night, after all he was a vampire wolf. So, as a protector of these lands, she figured she would have to make the decision on what to do to trespassers. So if these two did indeed cross, she would attack them for trespassing. Honestly she would prefer to keep them till the alpha dealt with them, but she’d kill them if she had to, or chase them out. Her chocolate orbs held no fear, only anger and perhaps anticipation. It would be nice to fight, get her muscles moving once again. She hadn’t had a decent fight in a long time, but if these two made her day, they more than likely wouldn’t make it in to this pack. Hell, they probably wouldn’t make it out of the lands alive.
The two looked like they meant business, which was just fine with her, for she meant business too. One paw step across, and she show them what a trained wolfess could do. For years her mentor, father, had trained her on fighting, intelligence, everything a wolf would need. Much like your parents would do, but he had taken it beyond the levels of normal. Even though they told her they killed whole packs, she still showed no sign of fear. There were very few things that brought fear to Devil’s Angel, and fighting wasn’t one of them. This vampress had to fight most of her life, she couldn’t let fear get in the way, and so she never had been scared to fight, even if the odds were against her. A true born fighter that will die the same way, she wasn’t going to change. Fighting was natural to her, something she had always known, and sometimes something that she had found comfort in. That and turning the tables around on others, tricking them, making them fear her instead of the intended act of making her fear them. Baring her fangs still, she spoke giving one last warning to the pair.
One step across, and your as good as dead.
