I stared at the stallion as he circled me. I felt weak in the knees, giving way. I was so nervous, so petrified. Not because he was dangerous, but because he was mystical. I glanced up at Pitra, though she was not much help. Her facial expression was soft and eager, she was obviously feeling the same erg of the stallions smooth moves. I looked around, wondering if anyone else had come across us. My small companion Cameo eyed the stallion cautiously. I looked up at his axian, she wasn't scary at all. I could see Cameo taking small steps closer and closer to the abnormally large bird to get a better perspective. "Why... Your not scary at all" Cameo confirmed as she smiled and plopped herself right in the birds reach. I small grin crossed my face, she was getting more confident every second. Cameo looked back at me and ruffled her feathers, clearly content with her new found friends.
Be careful Cameo, comfort or not she is still large and dangerous. I would die if I saw her hurt you I spoke to my dear friend telepathically. Cameo nodded her head, her tiny beak moving with every head sway. What an innocent child, I shook my head.
My eyes wandered back to the stallion, his voice lingering in my ears. Then Pitra beat me to it, answering with elegance. I was happy she did not sign me up for anything, however now, I was going to have to speak. I itched my face against my leg, I was not looking forward to this. Smart remark by Pitra, I thought inside my head, locked away from others ears. Warmth was indeed a valuable piece of life. However I just needed company, and I was up for anything. Should I show eagerness? Or hang back a little? Decisions, decisions.
"Er. Well Tenembrage, I would be happy to acompany you. However..." damnit... I needed a reason to fool with his mind,"well actually. I would just be glad. Wandering the shadows at night and day alone are exhausting. And although my friend Pitra needs confirmation... I am just happy to have the offer" I smiled sweetly. I was starting to feel at ease around the four. I am happy Cameo was too.
