Storm clouds rolled in over the small cottage, the bellies of the beasts full to the brim with the frozen tears of forgotten souls of the damned. Stars fell outside the frosted windows of the small cottage, Delphinium watching placidly as darkness quickly ensnared their world in it’s grasp. Their world had been so quiet lately, peace resting in the hearts and minds of the four legged members of Hoof Prince. No longer where the days where chaos and Sin reigned freely in the hearts and minds of the horses, competition and hatred curdling in their stomachs and singeing their veins. Peace, happiness, love, tranquility - these were the things that wrapped themselves so lovingly around their necks. Except for one, it seemed. Violet eyes shifted towards the door, brow furrowed in confusion for a moment. A normally quiet and contemplative soul, the storm that raged within Tia’s soul banged on the door and rattled her windows. The Oracle’s breath was taken away for the moment, the chill of winter settling into her bones. Grabbing her shawl she moved out the door, her bare feet melting the dusting of snow on the ground. She watched as blooms began to appear around the fence, the discontented face of Tia hidden beneath the the quickly opening flowers. “Tia, the rest of Hoof Prince has fallen into a time of peace yet you seem to have slipped into the darkness. This is why I give you this Amethyst now; your heart is troubled, love, and I worry for you.
