The Valley
Between the Meadow and the Field is the third of Beqanna’s Common Grounds. A rolling valley is bisected by a broad and shallow river. The grass is thick and lush, and this is a good place for a stallion to live with his family if he does not yet have a herd land.

She winced as the babe insider her kicked. He was getting a lot more active now a days, and soon it would be time to have him. She momentarily wondered if she would have the foal here, in the Valley. Pewter Bane was not here, and she could already tell he was the wondering type, one who would be gone for days then showing up to check in. It wasn’t her most favorite idea, but it was his life, one she was in no way going to rule. She smiled when Bromine apologized for being so uptight, yet something in his words bother her.
“Bromine. Do you not like the idea of me being with your brother? It seems to be bothering you a bit.” She didn’t like not knowing what was going on. It bothered her greatly and made her nervous. And being as she was right now, that wasn’t the greatest thing to be.
She noticed his eyes wonder out to the Valley; taking in the sights of stallions going to check on their mares. Poor stallion, he was lonely. She could see he wanted a girl, a companion of sorts, yet didn’t seem to have any luck in that department. Shifting once again, she moved to sort of stand beside the darker one, eyes following his. “You’ll have one of your own one day you know. No stallion is meant to be alone forever.”
