The Valley
Between the Meadow and the Field is the third of Beqanna’s Common Grounds. A rolling valley is bisected by a broad and shallow river. The grass is thick and lush, and this is a good place for a stallion to live with his family if he does not yet have a herd land.

It would seem the two had childhood issues with each other. Bromines eyes betrayed him, as he spoke of not holding childhood pasts to his brother. There was something dark, something not quite right. She wondered just being the curious creature that she was, just what had happened to make the two act this way. Had something gone wrong? There were always sibling twists and fights and disagreements. But that those things gone to the point of growing up with hate and betrayal?
“Oh he’s very easy going from what I saw. It sounded as if he didn’t like staying in one place very long, and wasn’t much of a herd stallion. Yet I saw not problems or cruelness in him.” It wasn’t the best explanation truth be told, but it helped a bit.
She noticed as she moved to stand beside the stallion, his ears pinned back. Normally she would have pinned her own in play, maybe nipping out at the other to start some unfinishable ‘I’m not touching you’ war. But with her large stomach filled with precious cargo, the sight made her step away. She knew he wouldn’t kick, he didn’t have the heart. But it made her nervous all the same.
“Oh I’m sure when you find the right girl; you’ll take good care of her. All stallions wish for their own at some point; and know just what to do when they find her.” While talking, another kick was placed to her ribs. Three mores days, she only had three more days of this. Then her pride and joy would be born, with or without Pewter Bane.
She could only hope he would be nearby, somewhere.
