The brute was rather consumed by trying to get all thoughts of what would become of him had his mate not left Amado’s mother out of his head. Blitz knew that he might as well cease to exist without the brute. Draumyr was his whole world now and if he was without him then he would be alone for the rest of his sad little existence, Drau was the only one who would ever understand him and he was the only creature he had and would ever truly love. He would never have let anyone else as close to him as he had with the brown pelted brute that he was proud to call his mate.

Mismatched eyes watched Amado with slight curiosity, the red and blue orbs somewhat emotionless as they landed on the pup though. He would be able to tolerate him but never feel much urge to keep him safe; he wasn’t his pup, he was just his mate’s son from a past relationship. His blue eye (the left) seemed to be less uncaring though; the light shade was almost an angelic blue, surprising when you knew that he was a complete monster. But his eyes had a horrible habit of betraying his emotions though, and his insanity often danced in the mismatched irises. He had managed to keep that under control so far though… there was just that one night… he wondered if Drau had caught the insanity that had entered his eyes on the night that he had first changed into his werewolf form when they were at Wolf Mountain itself…

Since that night Blitz had been more in control of his bloodlust, which he was sure was a relief to his mate as well as him. Blitz’s ears twitched at his mate’s words. The brute retained his relaxed demeanour but there was still something that was unsettling to him about the brute taking the pup back. He smiled at his mate’s whispered words, “that’s a promise?” he whispered back before gently kissing Drau’s cheek, really starting to feel relaxed now. Blitz’s eyes were settled on his mate and his soft smile remained etched onto his maw, he was happy to be here with his little werewolf and the brute’s blood ties mattered little to him. Drau was his mate and Blitz had seen the part of him that Amado and his sister didn’t even know existed, he highly doubted they would ever imagine it their father was a werewolf.
