Thank you so much James for sharing your thoughts on this. I had a tubal ligation when my 11 yr. old son was born. I wonder if that somehow has thrown off my hormonal balance?
I do think I have low adrenal function and now after analyzing my Mom's life, she was never a strong woman, very frail and often had to lie down... I think I could have been born with either sub par adrenals or ... something.
So after reading your thoughts and analyzing my own reaction, I'm thinking that my body responds best to the Schizandra.
It actually was 1 drop of iodine - the Iosol brand that I took and 1/4 tsp of the gelatinized Maca.
What do you think of combining Maca with Schizandra?
Is there a risk that Maca can increase facial hair?
The Maca seems to warm me up the best out of all the supplements I've tried.
I cannot tolerate being cold any longer. I'm desperate. My body temp is usually 96 degrees. When I take the Maca then I feel very warm, and sometimes even hot and my body temp goes up to 97.8 degrees.
The only other solution I can think of is to take a whole monkey load of cayenne pepper every day! Replies:
