I agree, why have a chip. Just about all large races (11,000 is a large race) use the chip to make it fair for everyone. Usuall the only time that gun time is used is when you have professionals running for large amounts of money. Yes, someone is going to get hurt by letting walkers mix with running in that size of a race. Last time for me, a good party will not bring me back. bye bye
