The tigress yawned and lolled on the riverbank, the heat baking her flame-and-white hide. She was good at lolling; it was all she got to do. That, and eat, and be ordered around by her parents. Well, attempted to be ordered around. Until she'd ran away, in search of adventure; but here she was, different place, same boredom.

She was young, and strong, and muscular, her stripes flame red on her white pelt. Her odd eyes- one blue, one green- brightened as she noticed the brute nearby. Who knew, maybe he'd have something interesting to tell her.... The fae lay back on her stomach to survey him upside-down, whiskers twitching. She watched him amble closer- apparently in his own little world, and flipped herself over to study him the right way up as he drew closer. The wind was in Autumn Leave's face, and she was well camoflaged in the grass, so she sat up in case he missed her. Not likely, obviously, but now something interesting had come along, she wasn't going to take any chances. She gave him her wide, sharp toothed grin.

"Howdy." her Texan accent was clear as she spoke, her voice harsh as sandpaper, but tender, too. She tilted her haid and waited for his reply.
