Time, it was time to see the love of his life; oh, how he had missed Solaris! The altercation in the Shadow God’s temple had been a viable reason for his absence, but it did nothing to ebb the flow of desire for the dun immortal mare that was his mate, and now mother to his second son Theo. His other son, Grandeur… he was recovering back in the Distant Peaks with his co-ruler Akasha, no thanks to Anaxandra.

My love! he said, excitement and happiness finally flooding his brain, as his strides drew him closer to Solaris. I have been delayed, my fair lady, he said jovially, as equivocatory as possible. His eyes spied around for Theo Barcelona, who had raced on ahead of his father to see his mother. Hmm….I wonder where little Theo could be? he said, a hint of a smile in his voice. Broken winked an eye at Solaris in play, for he spied little Theo Barcelona standing behind his mother, suppressing a baby’s giggle at thinking his mother could not know where he was, but knowing his daddy did.
