Can you explain this quote to me:

"Digestive enzymes: may be necessary to ensure that protein is adequately digested and glycine is readily available"

Does that mean, with inadequate HCL you wont absorb glycine from meat/protein?

Does the same go for amino acid supplements? Would they need digestive enzymes to absorb the glycine supps or would they be absorbed with or without digestive enzymes, and its only getting glycine from food that needs digestive enzymes?
