Nakato was quick to respond, "We are typical. Just because we come from a different region doesn't make us not typical." Apiyo didn't deny her sister's words. It was true enough; where they were from, males hunted with the females. It was what they knew, and just because it was different didn't make them wrong or non-typical.
Apiyo looked to her sister and then to the pair as they departed. The lioness nodded. "We will meet him, Nakato. Perhaps he can be taught to hunt for himself," she said with a reassuring nudge. "Yes, perhaps... Shall we find ourselves a meal then, before we meet Rikki?" Apiyo nodded at her sister's words. The two were off to find themselves something to eat and then to meet this Rikki.
