During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Insanity is a timorous condition to cope with, most suffer their entire lives.
I don't suffer, see my smile?
----------------------------------

Kong’s eyes seemed to be glued to her fourm, caressing her very flesh with his golden gaze. Her body threatened to shudder under such an intense stare, but she mustered up all of her strength to keep herself still. She didn’t want to give herself away to him; make it obvious to how he made her feel. Miya was never one to be very social for long; she was always the first one to leave. But her limbs wouldn’t allow her to move in the slightest. After she had motioned to be so close to him, gracing him with an affectionate nudge, she was stuck where she had stopped. She was even closer to him, less than a foot now as leaning across to him had moved her closer. It wasn’t only that her limbs wouldn’t allow her to move; her mind wouldn’t either. She wanted to be close to him, though she wouldn’t admit it. But her actions said otherwise, accented even further when she relaxed her muscles completely, her height still being slightly shorter than him. It wasn’t to his knowledge, but she was in fact a Mackenzie Valley Wolf, and in being so it caused her to be larger than most females she came across; and at times even males.

But the male across from her now was even bigger than she was, and it caused her to have to tilt her jaw in order to gaze up at him. But in all actuality; she did not mind one bit. She didn’t mind anything during this conversation really, except for perhaps the faraway look Kong sometimes allowed across his features. She dubbed this as him thinking about his past, about others he had known as well as his own misgivings. Being not a very social creature, she wasn’t one to think all too often about others. Yet the way she constantly had her mind full of him; well, she wasn’t very used to it. Nor was she quite familiar with the concept of selfishness, which is what she was quite literally feeling at the moment. She wasn’t too fond of the way he seemed to get distracted whilst talking to her, but she was patient enough to not say a word about it. After all, she didn’t want to offend him in the slightest, or chance an opportunity where it could grant him reason to part ways with her.

The more she thought about it, the more she realized; he seemed to enjoy her company, but he really knew nothing about her. How could he? She hadn’t told him of her past, how she grew up, or where she had even come from. She wondered what his reaction would be when he finally found out what she carried within her. Would he be repulsed; leaving the very moment the words left her lips? She tried with all her mental power to shove this thought from her mind, but she couldn’t help as it continued to return to the back of her mind, constantly nagging at her. Not much happened in Miya’s life that was for the better, and so this freak happening of her meeting a male such as him, was quite rare for her. She had hardly known any males throughout her lifetime, let alone spoken to them. It wasn’t that she didn’t know how to; it was more so her features that set her apart. None were too fond of the way her eyes gleamed when an exciting thought crossed her mind, or the way her lips seemed to tug up all on their own in the slight grin of hers.

She went as far as to wonder if he had even noted the thick sienna band surrounding her pupil, accenting the intense silver of her iris. If he had, he simply hadn’t spoken of it. But whether it was out of politeness or disinterest, she couldn’t tell. Thought she didn’t think Kong wasn’t interested in her. How could possibly not be when she felt such electricity from being near him? Though of course she could just simply be being a foolish female, imagining something was there when there really was nothing at all. The more she thought of this, the more her spirits dampened. But it wasn’t until he spoke again that she realized she was wrong; his words brought her out of her mind stupor. They caused her charcoal lined audits to swivel forward, perking in a tall manner as her auditory senses relished in the tones and melodies of his voice.

Kong stated he admired her for her boldness, her rash personality. He also told her that he was enjoying their conversation, and didn’t want it to come to an end. Her fractured heart within her chest seemed to skip a beat, and in doing so it caused the breath that was currently traveling down her windpipe to hitch. It was only for a moment, but Miya could have been considered breathless. It was also around that time that the warmth she had felt upon contact with him, returned to her nerves and veins. The sensation was sent coursing through every fibre of her being, and it caused her tassel to twitch lightly to the side. She refused to take her eyes off of him, her gaze now filled with the intensity of emotion. For a fleeting moment, she pondered if he could detect this within her gaze, but soon decided she wouldn’t mind if he did. As she had hidden it before; she didn’t do that now. She simply allowed him to peer within her, to view her thoughts if that was what he wished. She soon parted her own maw with more speech, her voice quieter at this point; it was full of a tender tone that wasn’t completely heard before.

I haven’t the slightest intentions of going anywhere, Kong, so long as you’re near this land. I wouldn’t even dream of it.. but as for you not wanting me near here, I’m afraid I’ll be here as long as I can.. Even if the Alpha of this land came to throw me off his border; I’d turn and fight him if it meant I could stay here a little while longer to be with you..

She wasn’t quite expecting the words that slipped past her maw, but she wasn’t exactly surprised. She had been holding herself back before, but she knew that wasn’t her way. She was always blunt, always straight forward. And that’s how she needed to be with Kong. She wondered for a moment if her blunt words would scare him off, and a feeling of panic drifted into her mind for a moment. But it was soon diminished as her liquid silver sienna accented gaze honed in on his. She was ready for any reaction he had for her; whether it be of acceptance of her words or rejection. She was also prepared for what he wanted of her; friendship, comradeship, partnership. Whatever Kong may have wanted, Miya knew she would oblige and do what she could for him. After all, she had never met another that she had become so attached to so quickly as she had with him. Never.
