Good Morning Gents,

My name is Dirk Hamilton. I go to Old Dominion University. I don't know much about the area but I love freshwater fishing. I went out to Lake Smith yesterday and was skunked. I unleashed my arsenal. Cranks, lipless, grubs, creature baits, softbait minnows. You name it. The only downside is I only have my ultra light right now so the use of plastics is a little more difficult. I can only beat it from the bank since my boat and trailer aren't registered yet.

I had heard some scuttlebutt that there are some places where bank fishing is prohibited around Lake Smith, does anyone know where that is? I didn't see any signs around anywhere I was. I was at the boat ramp off of Northhampton I believe.
