eliminating outside of litter box

hi,we brought a stray in our home last year.. she spayed everywhere.. we were able to put her in a secure small ouside bldg..we got her neutered..when we thought she healed, then back into the house..she did ok then, but kicked her litter everywhere.. we put in a new box, w/ a lid, since then incidences of increase urin/pooing outside of box increased.. took lid off the box, showed her calmly while picking up stool and putting it in the box w/ her.. but she continues.. we have 2 other cats, 3 litter boxes..they seem to be ok w/ ea other..ready for her to leave if this cannot be solved.. can you help?
