I started going to canton motor in 1967 that was when they raced real cars like 55-57 chevys there was a 55 or 56 t bird and so on Gary Miday was the man to beat .john carr i think was the one arm bandit. that was something to see guys who built there cars to race not to follow no crate motors ect . real cars real drivers and i don't remember anyone saying they didn't win because so and so had more money in there car or because so and so is buddy with the track owners . and they still raced the bombs those where cool to most of them as i remember where built out of just about anything left over in the garage Replies:
