Bluebirds and kestrals

I put up a Kestral nesting box behind our cabin. Even though the box has a 3" entrance hole and sits atop a 16' pole, within ten minutes a pair of bluebirds were checking it out! However, yesterday a pair of Kestrals were seen mating on the pine tree just behind the box, so I'm hopeful they may nest. Worth watching for.

The cabin is at 117 Wylie Road, on the west side.
