Darkness: she already knows that it will be her next element, seeing as she has all the rest except for Time. She is rather reluctant to even come here, and she finds that she does not really want it. Is there really any point to having it? It is not possible to skip an element, however. Such a thing would not be good for the Opal, it would seem. Dreadful thoughts of turning against everyone she loves and becoming withdrawn into herself are the thoughts at the very forefront of her mind. She does not want it, but she needs it; and you cannot always get what you want. Will Theo be affected? Will her relationships begin to fly through gusty, wayward winds? Will her hopes, her dreams, and her mind once more float away on a silent black cloud? This is why her stance is not at all akimbo in a relaxed way, as she normally is – rather, it is extremely tense and anxious. She has never really felt this way before in Delphinium’s home, and she knows that it is almost rude that she does feel this way. She cannot help it, however, and eases her tension a bit with a small fireball that takes flight and whizzes around the plants in the garden. Solaris watches it with an almost thoughtful expression, imagining the consequences if she were to level down her Fire element to level IV. It seems like a good idea, seeing as then she could receive Time; yet, at the same time, she wonders about the effects it will have on her. It seems almost like cheating, to have every element only in its fourth level – especially her first element. And on the other hand, she is no longer Paduan’s Guardian; it does not make sense to have level V in his element. Then again, does that not mean that she should have level V in Brighton’s element? Or is it more important to be overall well-rounded (as well far as elements go) and then pride oneself over having the Opal and being powerful there? These are the thoughts that plague her already-troubled mind, and with a gust of wind, the fireball dissipates into a cloud of smoke. She is unsure whether it is herself that decided to destroy the fire, or whether it was some other higher power that was making up her mind for her.
