Blitz arched a brow "I do not see your father to be the bravest wolf who ever lived, bravery is by far the kindest word for stupidity, no?" he growled "Your father didn't know that your mother was going to die; how could he?" he murmured, not adressing the part about Drau abandoning his partially orphaned pups. Abandonment was not something Blitz could ever try to understand, he ran away, he ran away because his sister wanted to and he didn't want to drift away from her. That had happened anyway.

Joy, another one that hates me, what luck he thought but he didn't think anything much of it, they were children and he was an adult who was somewhat unfortunately experienced in combat and knew as much about death as he did life, maybe even more.

"What happened to your mother was not my fault." he mumbled before continuing "I honestly didn't mean for any of that to happen; you don't think if I could turn back time to stop her death I would? Nobody deserves to have their mother taken from them as I child. I know that." He said quietly. The brute shuddered slightly it was his fault though... wasn't it? If he hadn't met Drau than Snowfall would still be alive but alternately he would have completely crack... Drau kept him sane without him he was nothing... there was no way of avoiding something going hideously wrong in either situation, it was all just very unfortunate...
