The bay roan mare tugged at the undergrowth that had tangled around her lower legs, while at the same time taking care not to fall off the ridge. She was resting at the bottom of the canyons when when she noticed that Freiya was missing from the bunch. After experiencing how steep the cliffs can be, Sarang couldn't help but be concerned. She may not have shown much outwardly toward the spotted mare, but Sarang does care for her and sees her as a friend. After searching the surrounding flats for Freiya and not finding her, the bay roan decided to trek into the ridges to make sure the spotted mare was alright.
She was jumping across a narrow ravine when she saw it. At first it looked like a giant hawk arcing across the night sky. When it turned though, it was clear the flying creature was a winged horse. The moonlight danced off of its smooth feathers. It was just a glimpse though, for the creature then dove out of sight and never reappeared. Sarang stood still for a moment, not sure what to make of what she just saw. Did she see it at all? It could be the stars playing on her eyes or something. Nevertheless, she should try and find out. Besides, she wanted to find Freiya. After looking at the ground for a way around a thorny bush, Sarang continued her journey.
Sometime during the night she heard voices coming from the summit of a canyon. Mostly Freiya's high pitched laughter but also something else. Curious by nature, Sarang changed course and headed up the slope. The climb was longer than she had anticipated, mostly due to the loose footing in some areas. When she finally got to the top, her blue eyes fell on a strange sight. The winged beast stood a few paces in front of her, and Freiya was next to it. They obviously knew each other, seeing the way they interacted. Suddenly Sarang felt that she was intruding on them, but turning to leave without a word wouldn't be nice either if they saw her. She decided to make her presence known. If they seem bothered or if she is indeed a nuisance here, she would leave in a second.
"Hi you two. Hope I'm not disturbing anything. I heard some noise from down below and decided to come see what's happening."
