Playground
Parents do not fear; your children are safe in the Playground. A benevolent fairy watches over young colts and fillies who come to frolic here. The trees are ancient things, and widely spaced (excellent for tag) and there are several low logs to leap over and many ponds and thickets full of wonder for the little ones. Come play and form friendships that will last a lifetime.

Nothing goes as planned.
Everything will break.
People say goodbye.
The creature in him had been awakened. Nexa had come for him (stalking him) and pushed him to the brink with threats and fear; her terrorism was a positive influence on his magic however, for it revealed itself in a frightening display of willpower. He knew not the limits of his powers yet, but he knew that he had to practice. Even if only for Nexa, and nobody else.
His boredom led him to concentrate, his eyes fixated on a chickadee on a branch. What can you do to it? he pictured Nexa prodding him. Can you stop his breathing? But without fear fuelling him, he could not muster the willpower to make the bird do anything. He sighed, annoyed; he would have to practice harder.
Fortunately, the appearance of another colt granted him a mental break, and the bay eagerly extended his muzzle to greet him. His nostrils flared, taking in the scent, memorizing it, before letting the grin spread his lips. "Hi!" he yipped happily, rearing up on his spindly hindlegs. "I'm Clawfinger," he said, ever-proud of the name that he created for himself. "What's your name!"
Not waiting for an answer, the colt giggled and spun on his hindquarters. He glanced over his shoulder before shooting forward, a tiny torpedo. "Race you to the trees!"
Oh you're in my veins,
and I cannot get you out.
