Volcanic Village
As you walk into this land, you see tall volcanoes in all directions. A few trees dot the landscape, providing some shade. A small creek flows through the land, joining a sea that lies between this land and the Frozen Tundra.
This was the land of Marked, the general for Black Magik while he controled the throne.

EVERON
why wonder if what we have
was worth the cost
One morning, the guardian of Satchel had walked into Volcanic Village, heavy with child. She told the stallion that his herd would be responsible for raising her child, which he obliged to without question. And then the very next day, Everon caught an unfamiliar scent on the wind - young, and male. Everon reacted quickly, lifting his head from grazing to locate the source of that smell.
Everon did not see much of the colt's mother in him, seeing more of himself instead in the fine curves of his Arabian face. The cremello approached the bay roan slowly, not wanting to frighten the foal incase he were on edge. After all, Everon knew not what Mari had done before abandoning the child - did she tell him anything?; did she tell her that she loved him? He would only assume that a child abandoned at such an early age was not one to bombard.
The cremello stopped a few metres away from the wandering colt, his ears tilted forward curiously, his eyes studying the young foal silently for several minutes. This would be Everon's first child - adopted, yes, but he was going to raise it all the same. His chest swelled with excitement, and a bit of worry. He prayed he could be as good a parent as his own were.
"Hello son," he finally spoke, his voice rippled with joy and pride, a warm smile tugging at his lips. "My name is Everon," he told him, taking a step closer, to bridge the gap between him and his adoptive child. "Did your mother give you a name yet, my boy?"
