During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

darkness strives
within

Whatever Noble Eight had stepped into was not good. He should've come earlier, or maybe later. But he just had to choose now. These two females were bickering over Eric, which just made him more curious about that Alpha, and when he would return, or why he left, or what he said to them before.

He was glad that the new female confirmed he could stay here for a while, and gave a small nod. It was starting to get light, but very slowly. It was just no longer black, but a small tint, that lit the world just a bit.

Then it hit, a random burst of light, and soon all darkness was washed away. The sun has leaped into the sky, and strangely fast, at that. Relief washed over him. He wasn't scared of anyone here, at least for the next dozen hours or so. He knew that almost anyone with any sort of insanity or sort of malicious and intelligent mindset (as he thought of himself) would be scared of light. He was not, he actually loved the day and night, he almost never slept, and when he did he would sleep for awhile, sometimes even 20 hours.

Then suddenly, a familiar scent passed his nose. Oh no. It was Xania. He didn't want anything to happen to her, and she found him. She went inside the border without hesitation and talked. He would just have to reply.

"Eric is gone, as I have heard." He said flatly, not showing any signs of affection towards her. Just because it was too dangerous of a place for it.

"Well I didn't except to see you here, either."
