Icicle Isle
This island of ice is the furthest land in the northeastern sector of the Dark Lands. Fridged water surrounds this terrian on all sides. The land of the Volcanic Village can be seen to the far south. The terrain is covered with ice and snow, a few trees and plants adding the final touch to the landscape. Every night, the northern lights appear over the midnight sky, covering the land with a mysterious blue glow.
This land is closed. It is no longer habitable.

She did not really understand the words that the stranger had spoken, but she understood that BlackAce had vanished and that another male was calling for her. She also understood the word icicle, hearing her own language's eis in the pronounciation. She had to go where there was ice, apparently, away from the mountains, and so she did just that.
It was not difficult to find the ice, for it was only hours away, just out of the shadow the mountains. Her newborn filly trotted happily at her side, gabbing to her in her native tongue (the only one she knew as of yet, since her mother taught her it). A chill swept up her spine as they first entered the territory, but eventually the warmth of the sunlight overhead negated the cold and she was content.
BlackAce had said mine to her, claiming her as his own. So who was this other black stranger who now claimed the same? The leopard mare let out a small, questioning whinny for the stallion while her few-spotted foal suckled.
