Seeing spiders, I'm told they never lie. IP: 96.52.20.178 Posted on June 8, 2011 at 08:45:03 AM by g a l i l
It feels too good without you.
The filly let loose a girlish giggle, despite her undeniable fright at the vanishing girl, and looked down at her mud-covered form. Wait until you see Ratchet! the filly thought to herself, remembering how she had invited the Fjord colt from the Playground to visit the territory to taste their sweet citrus fruits; the pale cream of his coat was undiscernable beneath the thick matting of mud. They made quite the pair, those two.
Her mother's ease about the vanishing girl quickly made Galil abandoned her fear and disbelief, so instead she looked curiously at the transparent filly - her new sister. She had never had a sibling before, and the simple term paired with her own name made her squirm with excitement. And it was not short-lived, as the pegasus announced the arrival of her next sibling. What did she mean it would be messy?
The smoky black slowly, hesitantly followed her mother, her brow furrowed in confusion. A small gasp escaped her as the pegasus crumpled to the ground, and then the world around them became a mess of blood and goo. The filly cringed and resisted looking, but she could not bare to leave Tzila without her attention. She looked back in time to see the foal fully born. Galil had witnessed the start of a new life.
It was a colt, a boy like Ratchet, dark like her in places, and light like Tzila in others. Her dark eyes glitter with awe, amazed at how the fully-formed colt had simply appeared from the mare's body, like an act of magic in her ignorant eyes. Just as before, the filly did not hesitate when the mare told her something, entrusting herself to what she said, and she stepped forward to meet the colt.
"Hi Dag!" she exclaimed, shorting his name for the ease of her inexperienced tongue, and her even more inexperienced mind. She beat her tail joyously back and forth, nickering softly as he rose to a stand with the same awkward grace that she vaguely recalled on her first attempt. She giggled more - just a little giggle-fiend, wasn't she? - as the milk bubble popped in his mouth, and she moved closer to him, sniffing in, observing him. Right now, he was even more magical than the vanishing girl.
"I'm your sister, Galil," she told him, touching her nose to the soft, wet down of his shoulder. He was so tiny, and so frail; it was hard for her to believe that she had ever been quite so gangly and delicate. "And don't you forget it!" she added with a grin, before turning to look at Tzila for approval.
"How did you do that?" she asked, an innocent frown touching her lips. "Didn't it hurt?"
