The twin maned wolves walked to the edge of the river. "I don't even remember the last time I tasted fish," Serendipity said, smiling to her twin brother. Paradox nodded. "I'll get us both something," he said, moving his keen gaze to the shimmering water. There was a lot of prey, and the male canine could already see fish swimming by; however, he didn't want any sort of fish. Paradox was searching for a type with a lot of flesh and taste that would please his sister. Although he wasn't quite sure what kinds of fish lived in Traydon River, the maned wolf kept his eyes peeled for a large, meaty fish that he and Serendipity would like.
The female rolled around in the grass a few times before looking around. Paradox was still in his crouching position, prepared to go fishing. Then, Serendipity saw another canine wandering nearby. She tilted her head. "I wonder what he's doing here. Looking for food, perhaps?" Serendipity murmured to herself, scratching her black fur. She wondered if Paradox would let her approach and greet the other brute.
Suddenly, the female maned wolf heard a loud splash. Paradox had caught a rather large walleye, almost three feet in length. It had been killed quickly, and Paradox gestured for his sister to come over and eat. The splashing noise had been really loud, and Serendipity was pretty sure that the other canine had heard. The female walked to where her brother was, wondering if the other brute would approach her and her twin brother, instead of the other way around.
