This wolf was irritating her. He didn't even look away from her gaze, the insolent brat. Devil's Angel, sitting nearby, caught her attention with her voice and posture. One ear flicked lazily to the side, considering the bitch's offer. She had more important things to do than run off a dim-witted mutt that didn't know how to show proper respect. She shorted and flicked her tail, giving a small nod.
"By all means. This bastard dog refuses to tuck his tail, tear it off. He wishes to meet my gaze with his unworthy one, tear out his eyes. He wishes to hold his head up, break his neck. Don't bother keep him in tact, let the vultures figure out which piece goes where," she growled, turning her attention away from the male and two the other female as she spoke. She already had a fondness for her -- she approached with such humility, as she should, and was going to take the annoying mutt off her paws. She still glared disdainfully, but something else had caught her attention. Another male in her presence, this one lurking towards the back. It almost missed her gaze the first time around, but what she saw was a large black brute of a wolf lurking just within the tree line. His scent was vaguely familiar in the lands, but that wasn't enough for her. She bore her teeth at him and let out a low growl.
"Approach or be deemed a coward," she demanded, keeping her focus on him. "Humble yourself like a good pet and maybe you won't be quite so tedious to get rid of." Out of the corner of her eye she noticed the approach of a female coated in white, and she could smell another faint change on the border and the scent of the two wolves from before moving away quickly. What a disgrace. So now she would need to make this quick so she could either send one of her subordinates for the stupid bitch on the border or fetch her by herself. She scowled a bit and momentarily turned her attention to the new wolfess who approached.
She had given a nod to Devil's Angel, a sign that the two had met prior, and kept her head low and gaze averted. Red Star licked her chops idly as she examined her. Not much to judge her by just yet, but she certainly held herself well enough so far.
"Samira," she repeated the name slowly, and with her trademark hint of scorn in each syllable. "Why exactly do you want to join this pack? This pack of mongrels and cannibals? Do you thinks you can match the corruption? Do you think that it will make you special or desirable to be in such a hovel? Or do you simply need some place to go? I will expect nothing less than complete loyalty, devotion, and ruthless ambition. I don't want anyone to carry your weight. I want you to make yourself known in this pack or you will have no place in it. I take no mercy on ghosts who ride on the success of the living."
