Volcanic Village
As you walk into this land, you see tall volcanoes in all directions. A few trees dot the landscape, providing some shade. A small creek flows through the land, joining a sea that lies between this land and the Frozen Tundra.
This was the land of Marked, the general for Black Magik while he controled the throne.

The cremello stallion back-tracked as his daughter went bounding into the surf, moving to place his bulk near to her own as they ventured into the sometimes turbulent waters of the sea. After all, the further they went out, the risk of drowning or animal attacks became greater. "When your hooves can no longer feel the ground anymore, Auria, begin kicking with your backlegs. Try to run in the water, and you will find yourself swimming. Keep your head above the surface!" he encouraged with a grin.
The cremello stallion led the group to where the water splashed up to his chest. He watched the filly carefully, occasionally ducking his muzzle under the water to nudge her up when he felt that she was sliding too far beneath the surface. He snorted to rid his nostrils of the water, and laughed as it misted up into the air around them. When the winter came, they would not be able to swim like this.
In the distance, a shadow lurked in the water, a gray flag of a fin cutting through the surface of the water and moving closer as the horses played. The cremello stallion did not notice yet (but he should have, he should have noticed!), for he was too consumed in entertaining the mares, but he would notice soon enough.
