A charcoal figure cut through the glancing rays of dawn that lit her path. The mare slowed to a more cautious pace as she drew closer to the stranger before her. The stallion was large, nearly double her pettiete arabian size and was coated in bits of twinkling elements as if they were some sort of fashion statement. There was an unmistakable air of gloom that surrounded the unfamiliar man, it clung to him like a thick coat of honey, and sapped the very life out of the surrounding area as he passed it. His face was solid and unmoving as stone, no doubt impassibly absorbed in his own disconsolate thoughts. Wyn had no intentions to distub the poor miserable sap and so passed him silently at a respectable distance. It wasn’t until she had made it several yards away that she remembered what Anaxandra had told her. In the usual sobbing debrief of her latest disaster she had instructed Wyn to watch for a tall black stallion who bore the elements fire light water and earth. At first Wyn dismissed the idea that the exact stallion she was searching an entire herd for had happened to casually pass her on her way. But the more she tried to rid her mind of the idea the more it insistantly bugged her. The description right down to the unicorn horn fit the details that Ana had given her to go off of. Grudgingly Wyn aknowledged that she would never be satisfied until she actially went back to confirm her suspisions. She couldn’t help but think of how embarrasing it would be to walk up to a complete stranger just to have it turn out to be the wrong horse. None the less thought Wyn backtracked her trail until once again she saw a charcoal figure on the horizon. Short of breath and mildly flustered she slowed back to a walk beside the stallion. Hastily her eyes glanced over his body in hopes of finding the correct elements, and sure enough they were all there with the addition of a brand new one. Im sorry to interupt your thoughts, but you wouldn’t happen to be Broken Dreams by chance would you? she asked. Despite the calmness that rang through her voice Wyn’s heart was hammering in her throat. She had played the scenario that was unfolding over many times in her mind but none of her imagined confrontations could prepare her for what it really felt like to confront the father of her sisters abused foal. She knew that she would have to chose her wording from her on out very carfully as to stir up as little angry feelings in Broken Dreams as possible. And despite her first instinct to turn tail and flee the situation altogether Wyn accepted that this conversation was the only chance she had at healing frayed emotional ties between her sisters former family. Taking in a deep calming breath Wyn waited anxiously for the mans reply. Psychic IV Earth IV LIGHT III
