It felt good being able to walk about in the sunlight again. Nosferatu had nothing against is need to be nocturnal, but being able to walk in daylight would be useful to a great degree in the end. Sunblock was certainly a useful blessing, and because of it, the adult wolf/collie was easily just another wolf-dog out and about. That was, until closer inspection revealed his more prominent canines, a feature only belonging to the vampiric sort.

All the same, the sable and white wolf/collie padded along. His nose twitching at the scents of the living furry critters in the area. When he was within a certain range, he could smell the blood coursing through their veins. He'd gotten better about controlling his habits as well. It was out of a need to be discreet. He would get what he wanted eventually. Until then, his twisted mind decided to lay low. Now wasn't his time, and of that he was fully aware.

So, he simply padded along the river, pale blue eyes drifting this way and that as a bird flew by or a rabbit stuck its head out of its hole. A simple summer day, with a vampire walking about in broad daylight.
