(actually, Theo has the size advantage. Even Bengal Tigers normally are bigger than fully grown male lions, and Theo is of the larger breed- siberian, and he reaches the maximum height of this so is actually a great deal bigger. Battle rules agreed except for death though; Theo fights to kill. )

The form of the lion plummeted up to him, the lion attempting to pin him down. Fair enough.... Theo thought, licking his lips. He would deal with the father and then the pitiful cubs. With a snarl Theo met the lion in the air but was not thrown or pinned down; instead he stood his ground on his hind legs and thrust his body weight foward with a growl. His sharp, huge, thumbed claws attempted to slice across his opponents chest in a series of furious swipes. He was the bigger cat here. He felt the lions own claws pierce his shoulders a little but that wasnt what the lion had been aiming to do so it wasnt nearly as bad as pain as it could have been. Theo merely directed his attack on the lion savagely, sharp claws clashing.
