A century ago something happened. Something big. Maybe it was a virus, maybe it was a cloud of dust that shrouded the world as it was with the dinosaurs. Maybe the humans ran out of resources, maybe they found another planet and relocated. It’s unknown by the creatures left behind, but the effects are tremendous. There are no humans left, they’ve become extinct from this world. Endangered animals have either thrived or have died off since their absence, and other animals thought to be extinct now roam the world again. The land has taken over the cities and the forests have thickened. The world continues to shift and change as have some of the animals, back to before the age of the human. Animals have gained space and thus have gained size. The worlds predator has left it to mend it's broken bones and become whole. Once again, the animals rule the earth, as they did in the old world.

The Old World is a feral canine play-by-post roleplay set in the 23rd century. Domesticated feral dogs, wild dogs, and wolves are all allowed as well as any other mammal in limited quantities. The lands are all real places found in Oregon, US. This is a brand spankin’ new playground that I hope you will come enjoy.
