He laughed when his beautiful mate stated the obvious. "Yes, it really is me." Before he could make the joke to ask her if it was really her, she practically leapt on him, nuzzling herself underneath his chin. Michangel just wanted to burrow himself in her fur and take in her scent for a whole month.

He hadn't been too sure that he would make it back to her when he had been chained up by the humans that had captured him, but now that he was back, he wanted to stay by her side forever. Of course, with the curse of his wandering paws who knew if that was true, but he did want to stay with her. He didn't want to leave again and risk going back to what he had ran away from.

"There isn't much that could keep me away forever. I just..." He was going to tell her what had happened when she pulled away and Michangel knew that she had spotted the thing around his neck.

"I think it's called a Kah-lar. That's what they kept saying." He frowned, shaking his head like it would just come right off. Michangel knew it wouldn't though; he had tried that a thousand times since it was put around his neck and he just knew that it was stuck there.

"I was off wandering," he started, looking rather sheepish about that fact. "And I stumbled into this place that had this smell... I hadn't eaten in a couple days and I went to find the food and, well, long story short. Humans got me. They put this on me and then chained me down... I got away though. And I just.." He trailed off, shaking his head slower before he pressed his face into her fur. "I didn't think I'd ever get back to you. I thought I would be stuck there forever."
