Hi Linda,

Te best natural antihistamine is the bioflavonoid quercetin. Make sure it is pure quercetin and not QBC (quercetin, bromelain and vitamin C). The other ingredients are not going to do much and as far as I am concerned are nothing but cheap fillers.

If you have plantain herb growing in your yard this is great for bites. Just chew a leaf a little then place it on the bite.

Otherwise, plain white toothpaste can also be applied to some bites to help stop itching.

If a bite gets infected take a raw potato and grate some. Then pack over the bite and use gauze to hold it in place for an hour or two. The raw potato makes an excellent drawing poultice.
