Charging towards the unknown entity

A whisper sounded. A whisper so feint the trees could hardly hear it. To Dizalgah the whisper came to him like a gunshot flinging through his mind. Never had he heard such a sound. He was filled with bewilderment, wanting to know what was behind the mysterious whisper that said nonsense but was too frightened to move. Too frightened to be a stallion and take the lead. It sickened him just enough to make him put his hoof forward. 'Just to see...' He thought as every painstaking step brought him closer to an unknown sort of glee. 'When was the last time I felt giddy?' He asked himself. Afraid that he'd answer himself, he looked around, wanting to know what felt so overwhelmingly nice.
As Dizalgah caught the fast and almost unnoticeable movement of a head in the bushes and trees he had thankfully just emerged from, he felt as though he was watching his self run away, stop, run, stop, stare, run from himself. Suddenly, the large horse was being circled in fast motions. All he could hear was the supposedly inaudible whisper, "Dizalgah... Dizalgah... Dizalgah..." Confused and finally ready to stop whatever was threatening him and what he realized was his soul, Dizalgah reared, whinying loudly and crashing down as the creature halted in front of him. He almost choked from the beauty of the creature. Her legs were long and slender, as those of a crane. Her head held low in concentration and horrifying seriousness. Her eyes glared with the color of the sun- yellow with screaming intensity. Her red fur mingling with black in a dizzying fashion that had him stuttering.
Her front legs stood shoulder spaced as her back legs were spred to steady herself from abruptly stopping a run. She stared up at him as he could help but stare at her as well. Somehow, he knew her name. He'd always known her name and it scared him. Dizalgah's voice rang as misted and deep as the heavy rainfalls in autumn and spring, "Riaha? My soul?"
Riaha's voice came like an echoed whisper in the midst of a pure, magical and perfect fantasy. Dizalgah felt as though he had entered a world covered in white, as white as the winter around him. He envisioned his soul being formed and deformed as horse and wolf as his partner in life stood directly in front of him. She laughed, the high, almost mocking laugh that started in a feint pitter patter and ended in echo. Dizalgah felt like laughing as well. 'Giddy,' he knew he was. He wanted all of her to be real but he couldn't believe it. It wasn't plausible to be this happy. It wasn't right.
'This is right, this is true. Do not be afraid young sire. I'm with you now, always. You are complete.' Riaha echoed into his mind. He wanted to cry from joy as she moved her feline-like yet wolven body beside his and sat down. She proceeded to look up and into the monstrous Shire's blue eyes, 'let us be on our way now. We have visitors ahead.'
