Re(1): peeing on bathroom carpet

Hi Shirley,
I don't know a heck of a lot about cats, but I do have 2 of them. (you can read my predicament in the question below.) If there is not much space in the bathroom the liter box is in, that could result in them wanting to "go" elsewhere. Also, if you have only one litter box in there for the two of them, they may be tried of sharing it. So I would suggest if the bathroom is pretty small, to keep that bathroom door closed, and put the 2 litter boxes in a room nearby, space the litter boxes out a few feet. And put down bubble wrap under the 2 litter boxes. The bubble wrap piece under each litter box should be about 4 times as big as the base of the litter box.
