Personality-
Tylie is joyful, loving, friendly, mellow, open and trust worthy. She loves the world and the world loves her. This girl does not make enemies and is the “impossible to be mad at” type. With the most even temper, mild manners and welcoming ways you’ll ever see she is very easy to get close to. Her passion for life is catching but her tendency to automatically trust others often gets her into trouble.
History-
Roweena was a young woman, only just into womanhood in fact, when she came to be part of Tylie’s father’s herd. The dominate stallion (Tylie’s father) was old and on the downfall but Roweena ended up in foal to him almost immediately. Before the child was born the lead passed away and a younger stallion stepped in to take his place, this new lead was known as Kendrick and he became the father figure in Tylie’s life though she was aware that they had no biological connection. She had a happy and comfortable childhood save for one unfortunate incident.
Even at an early age Tylie was affected by the wanderlust that still plagues her now. She was adventurous, explorative and very hard to keep track of. So it was that one day towards the end of her first year she slipped away from her mother’s watch and went scampering up a narrow cliff path leading to a raised meadow that had the very best grass. The heavy rains they’d had recently made the cliff side unstable and a rockslide caught her on the way back down. She survived but a nasty knock to the head left her permanently blinded.
She recovered well and adapted quickly to this alteration in her life. Not having been born blind she had the advantages of understanding color and having seen many things for herself when her sight did work. So she was able to imagine her surroundings accurately enough and her other senses grew stronger as she came to depend upon them more. All in all she had a good first few years of life. None the less it was with great excitement, though an undertone of regret did show, that she took her leave of Roweena and Kendrick to set out and see the world. She was a year on the go before her travels brought her to Black Rabbit…
Tylie’s time in Black Rabbit was fleeting, she made the acquaintance of a young male with whom she was quite fascinated but aside from him there was little to hold her there. In the end a desire to see as much of the world as possible won out and put her back on the long road of the wanderer. That road took her through Reykjavik where she stopped for a short time but did not stick. Now she has come to Avenion and stopped again…

Sample Post-
I lost track of where I have been and where I am going long ago but it doesn’t matter for I never did have a specific destination in mind. It was time to leave so I left, I wanted to see the world and so I have been walking or running through it as the situation demands ever since. Now and then I have stopped off for a few days in a particular place, met with strangers I will never see again simply for the sake of conversation and then set out once more. Today as the sun bursts over the hills I have come yet again into a new land. I know that it is morning and the sun is braking not because I can see it, I haven’t seen a sun rise in nearly three years, but because I have become attuned to the differences between night sounds and morning sounds between the chill of evening and the small added warmth of early morning.
Though I can not see that sun rise I can imagine it, an explosion of color spreading slowly through the sky washing out the blackness of night and bringing on the blue of day. It is a pretty picture I have painted and though I will never know if it is at all close to the current reality I am convinced that the world I have stepped into this morn is beautiful as my picture for I can smell mixed fragrances of many varied flowers and no place with so many flowers could be anything but beautiful. The forest I have been walking in since yesterday morning has changed I can not see the changes but I am aware that they have occurred. There are still trees, this I know from having brushed against their rough bark in an occasional misstep. Yet, there is a wind and no rustling leaves which must mean it as an expanse of evergreens.
Nearly half an hour has passed since the time when I believed the sun to be rising and I have grown both hungry and thirsty. Happily the sounds of water rushing over rock have joined those of the birds and other tree-dwelling animals. With my nose and ears to guide me I soon find the creek or stream, I can not tell which with out wading across it and am not really curious enough to do that. First I lower my head to test the grasses at my feet and finding them quite delicious I move on to take a refreshing drink. I have finished with the water and returned to grazing when the sounds of pounding hooves echo up from behind me. Slightly startled I turned to face the sounds with my back to the water. The intensity of the noise has me worried that I am about to be swept up in the midst of a herd come for a watering. But the pounding dies away a distance from my current location and with a sigh of relief I step forwarded extending my muzzle, nostrils flaring to check the scents in the wind.
There is a new perfume there but only one, one that is both equine and male…that is all I can tell about the new comer at this point in time. I do not think that he means me harm, granted I never think anyone means me harm, but one who meant me harm would have been over here harassing me by now and this one seems not to have noticed my presence at all. Currents of energy seem to be just rolling off this stranger and by that alone I guess that he must be young probably my own age if not younger still. Taking a few more tentative steps forward I decide to draw attention to my presence for this fellow has me both interested, curious and wanting to meet him. “Hello…” my voice as always is musical, pure and kind the sort of voice that no one should feel threatened by. My blue eyes, still bright behind the milky shield of blindness, gaze intently towards the place where I believe this other to be standing and now I wait.
