Almost immediately she feels relief by her father's touch. It was eerie and unreal how a single thought and sensation of being with him made her feel so safe. She closes her baby blue eyes, as if afraid if she looked upon him he would disappear. I just want to always feel like this....I love him - he's my daddy.
She listens to his deep voice closely, never saying a word at all. She sniffles. Was Cersei going to cry? She had been fighting so hard not to and now it was impossible; the dam break. She doesn't start crying loudly or strongly. A tear, her eyes watered and her nose runny was sufficient enough to show her emotions and it was all she could honestly muster.
She pulls back and looks up to Array when he says his final words. She stares, noticing they have the same eyes. But she can't admire that, not when he was offering to take her back to the Cove. "You want me to come back? You don't hate me for leaving with mom?" He came all this way, for me? She is suddenly flooded by so many thoughts it was making her head hurt - or maybe it was just the crying? "Yes, I want to go home, but I can't just leave without mom knowing. She's ... different. She's kind of scaring me. Something isn't right."
Leaving Hush? Cersei is confused and torn. She hated it here and wanted to go back home, but what about her mom? How would she fair? No matter what she would be breaking one parent's heart and it wasn't right. Cersei feels angry now, and her face shows it. "I hate Hollowpoint." She spits his name out, her hatred ever so clear. It was his fault. It was he who now made her have to choose between homes.
Cersei was different, too. No girl should feel such fire in her heart and head.
